About The Founder

While incarcerated, Mizz Kim, as she is affectionately known, became passionate about the struggles of women who repeatedly returned to unhealthy relationships and lifestyles due to the lack of safe transitional housing. Determined to change this cycle, she set out to create programs that provide housing, training, and support for women reentering society.

Kim Brown holds an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, a Master’s in Professional Studies. She is a certified paralegal, an ordained minister, a conflict resolution specialist, and an ordained minister.

Combining her academic background with lived experience, she developed a holistic support system offering housing, job readiness training, counseling, and life skills education. Her mission is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves a second chance and the tools to build a stable, productive future.
